It gives me immense pleasure and joy to pen few lines on Poondi Pudmai Madha College of Education run by the Diocese of Kumbakonnam. Education is the deep root that strengthens the society and makes people be more responsible to the nation. The most important part of the education and educational system is educating and training the teachers, that makes them to be teachers of the future generation.

Keeping this noble cause in mind and its value to the human society, the college strives to train teachers to enhance the skills of teaching with ethics and values that will enable them to inspire the young minds that ultimately create a just society.

Instilling the faith of God, this Christian institution accommodates all faith with due respect, keeping them in the light of kingdom values that is universal to the entire human community. As I appreciate all the students of today and yester years, I invite them all to keep values and ethics as their hall mark and enhance skills to train the young minds in their specialized subjects and enrich them to contribute to the development of the society in their own way.
